Mira Italian Style Hand Blown Glass Mushroom Lamp

The domed shade is why Mira feels calm rather than bright. Hand blown glass shaped like a mushroom throws light down and outwards in a single even wash, with no hotspot and no glare at eye level, which is exactly what a nightstand or low side table needs. The glass comes in amber, warm yellow, blush pink and opal white, so you can choose how warm the light lands in the room.

Stepless dimming through a rotary control solves the usual problem with bedside lamps, where the lowest setting is still too strong and the next step down is off. Turning the dial finds the right level for reading, for watching a film, or for just enough light to cross the room at night without fully waking up, so it fits naturally into a relaxing sleep routine.

Construction does the quiet work. A solid metal base keeps the lamp planted when a duvet or sleeve catches it, and because each shade is hand blown, slight variations in thickness catch the light differently. That makes every LivaniLiving Mira a decorative object in daylight as well as a lamp at night, at home in modern, vintage and mid century interiors. It also makes a memorable gift for a new home or a bedroom makeover.
